Dumbledore

Sasha made sure the first thing I saw reading the news this morning was the fact that Dumbledore was gay. In addition to the blah blah, the BBC also managed to dig up a bizarre gay rights campaigner, who noted "It's great that JK has said this. It shows that there's no limit to what gay and lesbian people can do, even being a wizard headmaster."

OK, that was my big laugh for the morning. Bucky heard me laughing and, when I told him what was so funny, his first question was "is this for real?" This is so awesome. One more strike against the christian right. By the way, my favorite quote was "It's good that children's literature includes the reality of gay people, since we exist in every society." Childrens literature has always been about reality - talking animals and all... thanks for the giggles:)
