Would it really be a gathering of academics in a dorm-like structure without a 1 AM fire alarm? False, of course. I almost looked forward to the parade of shame on the front lawn, but thankfully it was called off before we had to head out in the cold.

Haha--after surviving what, three? four? actual fires in Whitehouse I've been trained to not head outside at all unless I see actual flames, visible smoke spewing into my sleeping area, or someone in a position of authority knocking on the door saying, "seriously--the building is on fire."
