Trapped like a rat. I got exploring on Expedia, and realized how totally isolated I am here in the midwest. I am so far from anything it isn't even amusing.

That said, I'm starting to think I should explore the Southwest. I hate heat, but I like cool native American stuff. I was also looking a little further south, at Peru. But for the moment, trapped.

I'm not even talking leaving the continent, but we thought that one of the upsides to moving here to Chicago would be increased roadtrip opportunities...but so far that hasn't been the case, not that Ohio isn't fabulous, of course. Toronto is great, and Pittsburgh is cool...but we're still too far north for the south east and a little bit too far west for the northeast. Frustrating, I tell you. --Sarah anchorednomad.blogspot.com
