We found a kitten, which just happens to be the poster child for the Huron Valley Humane Society (well, until tomorrow, I imagine, when we get to pick her up). She's called Gina by them, but we are currently racking our brains for something more 'us'. Any suggestions?

Awww, she's sweet! Calvin really approves, too, as he is found of shiny black fur. As for the name, sometimes it is better to get a sense of the kitty--if that doesn't work, I tend to pick up a Vogue... hence I have had a kitty named Gucci and I currently have one named after my favorite designer. If you get stuck, I can lend you some Vogues--but I sense that is more me than you guys. Good luck!!

Don't dismiss the name she was given too quickly. You might find that it turns out to be appropriate! The Westland Humane Society gave Simba and Puma their names and I found that they do fit very well.

Hey...what's your problem with the name Gina?? :) Actually, that's what the cat my mom and I had growing up was called. She died a couple of years ago at 17. Do you remember her? She didn't look like this cat at all -she was multi-colored, so I can't speak to if the name fits...
