Well, we managed to find an apartment in Ann Arbor. It's a bit pricy, and a bit far, but it has lots of windows and if we do this now we don't have to spend too much mental or physical energy trying to get people to look at lots of apartments, etc. I've put up a description and photo of the place - I think it'll do us quite nicely for a year, and if we want to stay longer in Ann Arbor, it wouldn't be a terrible place to spend an extended period of time.

W. Summit? I can't place it, but it sounds familiar... Anyhow, being within reach of downtown again should be nice for you. I never realized just how nice a thing it is until I moved within walking distance of BG's downtown. Of course, it will be good to have you both back in A^2. :)

Certainly cheaper than a half-million dollar loft on Liberty street! I can't believe people pay prices like that in Ann Arbor - why don't they move to Paris like reasonable people?

So does this mean that you are going back to Ann Arbor, for sure?

About the price...you edited that part out of the description??? C'mon, I'll even tell you that I'm paying 400/month for my 2BR, 1 bath place in Tanta. Oh...but that's Egyptian pounds, so it's less than $80 per month!!!! Yes, that's eighty US dollars. (plus utilities)

Well, multiply your rent by a factor of ten and you'll come close to ours!

It's all relative, I suppose. In NYC, for instance, $800 might get you a closet. :)
