Well, for better or worse I have sent, I think, all the Christmas presents I am capable of this year. I am truly terrible at picking and choosing stuff to give to people. Hopefully at some point I can convince people that the whole 'gift exchange at christmas' thing is a bad idea, and that I will benefit far more from a lack of holiday shopping stress than I will from whatever present they give me. But until that day I will continue to prowl the halls of Amazon.com, seeking the perfect gift (preferably with free shipping!)

...and if you feel like keeping an eye on the home of those you're sending presents to, try this: http://www.terraserver-usa.com All sorts or high-quality, high-zoom pics of most of America. (including my parent's house!) -- thanks to http://www.happybeagle.com for the link

I've actually been playing with the terraserver software (the one that let's you animate the maps in 3-D) but sadly, the paris data ends about a block from my house. I've been thinking of doing a movie of the route I take from work, but haven't had the time.
