would you like to make a donation?

Ah hah. And while I'm on the subject of Obama, you can make a donation to the campaign through my personal fundraising page (no joke - I told you the Facebook dude was effective!) and make my thermometer taller. While you're at it, suggest some clever text for the whitespace on the left - I've left the default text, and it isn't all that thrilling!

I always like being the first at something... anything... but with early adoption generally comes "issues" or, as we used to call them, "glitches".

I made a donation on your site, I went through all the questions as regards my citizenship and such, my credit card payment went through, I received an e-mail receipt thanking me for my contribution. But nothing appears on your site and your thermometer is still at zero.

An undocumented feature?

Damn! Now I have to take back my comment... it works now.

I know, I know - it is perhaps somewhat disturbing imagery! *laugh*

Derek, that's awesome! Thanks a bunch!

I told a friend recently that I was thinking of working for the campaign, and she asked me if Barak was really a Muslim. I guess I hadn't realized the level to which misinformation was floating around out there. It's really scary to think that (1) these sorts of ideas are out there, and (2) that it would make such a difference if he were. Oh well - one step at a time.

Disturbing images? I'm afraid to go to sleep now! ;) Given the number of what I can only amount to "hate" emails I've recieved lately related to Obama and non-Christians in this country, it is a sad state. Some have made me physically sick, actually. I guess Rev. Wright was just a 20 year "beard"? Oh, wow, I just realized the pun potential.
